Service Description

An Interior Deep Clean process tailored specifically to remove mould from your vehicle interior and prevent it returning. Mouldy Mollie Includes: Carpets, mats and upholstery are thoroughly vacuumed as well as dashboard, door panels & vents being cleaned and dusted to remove sources of nutrients which mould (fungus) feeds on. Dashboard, door panels & vents are cleaned and dusted. Mats are shampooed to kill any mould spores (mould doesn't like detergent). Dash, centre console and other interior surfaces are scrubbed to remove evidence of mould Leather is cleaned to remove mould. Upholstery seats are shampooed and extracted leaving them as dry as possible and removing or improving stains. Interior fabrics and surfaces are treated with an anti-fungal treatment suitable for soft furnishings, leather and plastics to kill the fungus and prevent it from re-germinating. Boot vacuumed (if cleared) and any mouldy marks are steamed to improve or remove any stubborn areas. Ozone Machine to sanitise the air in the cabin before fully airing the vehicle out. Air Con Sanitizing Bomb released into the Air Conditioning System. Windows are cleaned and treated with hydrophobic glass cleaner Interior left smelling fresh! ----- Mould can be stubborn, and can stain light interiors. Despite our best efforts, sometimes those stains are there to stay. We will take each vehicle on a case-by-case basis but this service may be subject to a bio-hazard surcharge. The safety and wellbeing of our staff is paramount. Black Mould spores (Stachybotrys Chartarum) can lead to respiratory irritation. If you have black mould in the car, this is often caused because of prolonged damp, humid environments and we would advise any leaks into the cabin or other issues are rectified before we attend, that the cabin is allowed to air out and dry naturally and we would encourage that the cabin filter is also changed. Airing and drying also applies after we attend, and where necessary we may add the cost of de-humidifying bags to assist at times of year where it's more challenging to get vehicles to dry.
